KOM’s employment law attorneys prepare, negotiate and provide counseling on a wide-variety of workplace agreements including, but not limited to, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, confidentiality agreements and severance agreements.

KOM represents employers and employees before administrative agencies on numerous issues, including those involving wages and hours, military leave, licensing, unemployment, harassment, discrimination, disability accommodation and MIOSHA.  Agencies before which KOM appears include the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, the Michigan Wage and Hour Division, the Michigan Office of Insurance and Financial Regulation, the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency and the Michigan Department of Community Health.

Our diverse experience in the sports and media field includes contract negotiations in sports and broadcasting, negotiation of endorsement contracts, representation of individual athletes and entertainers with respect to former and prospective agents, and representation of companies directly involved in the industry.
